COVID-19 Response

Contrac FM has been working with innovative technology solution suppliers to develop an all-encompassing COVID-19 response service, hitting the three key areas: Detection, Mitigation and Prevention.

By focusing on these three areas, we have been able to help businesses get back to work, providing the safest possible working environment amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

Detection

The use of thermal imaging cameras has emerged as a highly effective way of detecting COVID-19, by scanning people with thermography cameras to identify body temperature, in line with the medical evidence that abnormal body temperature is one of the main symptoms of COVID-19.

The contactless solution is easy to install and can detect the temperatures of up to 30 people at a time. The technology is ideal for hospitals, airports, public transport, schools, retail and any other environment where a process can be implemented to prevent people with abnormal temperatures going into an area where they could potentially pass on the infection.

Mitigation

Lanyard - Social Distancing and Monitoring

Employees wear digital badges that detect and alert when the social distancing measurement is breached. It also enables rapid contact tracing, should a team member become ill with COVID-19 symptoms.

Wearable Wristband Safety Solution

This uses a digital smart bracelet, which is ideal for use in heavy industries such as construction. It sends warning signals if employees go within social distancing measurements and it also provides contact tracking, to instantly check who has been in contact with any employees that become infected.

Industrial Workforce Safety Solution

This wearable solution serves as a social distancing measurement reminder and also has a number of other business-critical features such as emergency alerts, incident logging, and safety management.

This tech can be worn as a HiVis vest and is set to alert at 4m as well as 2m. it can also detect information such as a worker’s temperature, heart rate, and posture, as well as having a host of sophisticated safety features.

Prevention

In our cleaning operations, we use the revolutionary THOR UVC total room disinfection robot, which terminally cleans surfaces as well as the air, eradicating 99.9999% of COVID-19 infections. It takes just minutes to perform the process, which includes 3 pre-treatment room scans and a germicidal dose of continuous wave UVC energy. It provides floor to ceiling disinfection with 360 degree coverage and is ideal for using in hospitals, care homes, schools and any other environment to prevent further spread of COVID-19.
